We started the day with fresh blueberry muffins from a mix that we were given by Greg and Dianne Noskowiak! Doreen added some fresh blueberries and baked them for breakfast! They were awesome and plenty more for the next few days!
The Indiana Fever WNBA game with our U of I Caitlin Clark was at noon today, so we hung around here for that. While waiting, Doreen did three loads of laundry and I got caught up on some paperwork and computer stuff. At noon we tuned in via the WNBA app on the Apple TV box. The Fever fought back hard but came up just five points short when the clock ran out.
After the game we discussed taking the campground trolley down to the beach, but the temperatures were in the mid-80's and the humidity was up, so instead we drove into town to Hannaford's, a regional grocery chain, and replenished the fridge and pantry. On the way back we fueled the truck in preparation of our departure Friday morning.
Back at the campground for our late lunch/early support we opt'd for a pizza from one of the campground restaurants. I supplemented that with an order of buffalo seasoned Brussel sprouts. The food was... OK. This restaurant was adjacent to one of the swimming pools so I waited for our food there and then took it back to our camper which is just a short walk.
After dinner we tuned in the Chicago Cubs vs the Baltimore Orioles baseball game on Directv, and then our daughter Jennifer texted that our grandson Lucas was playing hockey for the Kalamazoo MI team on the LiveBarn app and he was "in the net", meaning he is a goalie and he was playing.
