14 May 2024 - NSTR Last Day at Scott Air Force

Spent the day catching up on some tasks here and preparing to depart tomorrow for Camp Atterbury IN which is just south of Indianapolis.  The rain was off and on all day with lots of overcast.  This morning we headed into town to fuel the truck and then to the store to restocked the pantry and fridge.  .

Back at the coach I got caught up on some admin tasks.  We spent some time nailing down a reservation in Colchester VT and negotiated a Sirius XM contract renewal in my truck.  I worked on some other minor maintenance and washed the buggers off my front cap,

To my surprise the mower showed up and knocked down the weeds and grass.  As tall as it was they had to go over it multiple times.  Tomorrow maybe the combine will follow and bale what remains LOL.

This afternoon we reviewed and refined the route for tomorrow.  After dinner we tuned in the WNBA Indiana Fever and our Iowa girl Caitlin Clark playing the Connecticut Sun.  It's half time now.  Later the Las Vegas Aces play and another Iowa girl Kate Martin makes her WNBA debute.  Early night tonight, though.  We lose an hour tomorrow heading into the Eastern time zone, plus we have another fairly long day for us at 275 miles.  I also have to pull chocks and move the coach to the dump station since we have no sewer connection at our site.  That all takes time.

Sooo, next report from Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh IN, south of Indy!
