The 2024 Texas Alliance Rally is a wrap. This will be short and sweet tonight as we prepare to head towards Little Rock AR tomorrow morning bright and early.
Heavy rain last night. Many departed throughout the morning. We did laundry, replenished the pantry and fridge, and got fuel in preparation for our departure tomorrow. The weather cleared and it warmed up. We completed our pre-departure tasks here and took a break a bit this afternoon watching the Cubs beat the Brew Crew. At 1700 hrs about 31 of us met at The Jalapeno Tree restaurant for some (plural!!) Cinco de Mayo margaritas and a delicious Tex-Mex meal.
We had a great time here at Mineola, reconnected with many of our Alliance friends and making new ones. A HUGE thanks to all those who were involved in the heavy lifting to make this possible. Next year's Texas Alliance Rally will be back on the Gulf at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort in Crystal Beach TX 29 Apr-3 May 2025.
