Not only "Nothing Significant to Report" today but also no pictures tonight. Was a rainy day pretty much all day off and on, but you will have days like this. The plan for today was to grocery shop so it all worked out. We made a trip to Lowes and then to Home Depot. The floor guide on our bypass closet doors broke. Lowes had nothing so found one at Home Depot. I also lost 12 volts to a couple interior LED lights. We are working with Alliance to try and find out how they wired these trailers four years ago so as to hopefully find out where the disconnect might be. In the interim I am wiring a temporary solution and needed a few parts.
On the way back we stopped at the Dyess Air Force Base Exchange to look around a bit and then the Commissary to resupply on groceries. We were almost the only customers in there! So we got in and out quickly. Back to the FamCamp we passed the Dyess Air Force Base Air Park. They have a huge number of beautiful static display aircraft. Hopefully the weather will cooperate for pictures in the next couple days.
Back at the RV the rain continued so after unloading the groceries I worked on my wiring project and successfully completed it. Home made pizza on cauliflower crust for dinner. Another late night Cubs game at the San Diego Padres. Doreen worked the plan for tomorrow. The weather is supposed to be cool but hopefully the rain is gone. We plan to visit the Buffalo Gap Village just south of here, which is a historic frontier-town complex of buildings from the 1880s to 1920s with an art gallery & gift shop. Then we plan to venture downtown to see the 12th Armored Division museum and a few other sites.
We are here for two more nights after tonight, so plenty of time. Hopefully a more exciting day and pictures in tomorrow night's blog.
